Nightcap Cottage, newly renovated, is a lovely self-contained cottage on the very edge of the village of Eureka. Named for its incredible view towards the wooded hills of Nightcap National Park, the cottage has a wide covered deck which will be a spot you won't want to leave! The cottage sleeps a maximum of four in two comfortable bedrooms (suitable for two couples or a family with older children, age 7+). There is a spacious living room with dining area and large sliding glass doors that open to a wide deck which wraps round two sides of the cottage. A BBQ is provided for your al fresco meals and TV/DVD & great sound system for your entertainment.
The tiny sleepy village of Eureka sits in the heart of the glorious hinterland of Byron Bay. It enjoys a feeling of being far away from the rest of the world, yet it is only: * a 5 minute drive to Federal where you will find the well-known general store with its bottle shop (and Klub Fed cafe), perfect for grabbing last minute food essentials and supplies. Federal is also home to Pogel's Wood Cafe - open for lunch and evening take-away from Wednesday to Sunday and for dinner on Fridays & Saturdays. * a 10 min drive to the wonderful village of Bangalow, its pretty high street home to some wonderful cafes & restaurants and an array of interesting and eclectic shops. The colourful once-monthly market (on the 4th Sunday) is not to be missed. * a 25 min drive to the Byron Bay with all its diverse attractions & beautiful beaches * a 30 minute drive from Lismore airport and 45 minutes drive from Coolangatta Airport The wonderful natural & scenic attractions of the area are all close to hand. Places such as: Minyon Falls (which you can see from the cottage), Whian Whian State Forest, Rocky Creek Dam, Nightcap National Park, Booyong Nature Reserve (with its colony of flying foxes) and The Channon & Nimbin
